Luz Charming Houses

Location was very good. A beautiful property with grounds that invite contemplation and relaxation. The walks on the property are bordered by lavender and rosemary planted along the buildings. Together with the many well placed spots to sit and reflect they form an overall sensory treat. While the staff in the reception area were pleasant, with a welcome tea and cookies added at check in, the most solicitous staff members were those in the dining room, where each went out of their way to ensure the dining was a delicious experience. The food was exceptional - can’t say enough about the breakfast- the best and healthiest I’ve had in Portugal stay. Fruit, fresh baked goods, and more, with the staff even making note of my milk allergy. Dinner options need to be provided ahead of time and cost was a little steep.

The room and amenities were excellent. The breakfasts were exceptional..probably the best we had at our 2 weeks of 5 star hotels.

The whole facility was a like a hidden gem. The rooms were very private, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was divine and staff was outstanding. We didn't fully understand how wonderful this place was when we booked it and we will stay longer the next time we visit Fatima. I will recommend it highly to all of our friends.

Our stay was fantastic from the beginning to the end. Very special touches at every turn. The staff were delightful and made sure we were happy at all times. The rooms were delightful and quiet and the grounds were beautiful. We ate both dinners there and the food and service was as good as most Michelin restaurants. The chef even came to the table and chatted with us.

Beautiful setting! The decor was super nice.. so many special touches!
